How to fill in this form

This form helps you understand your home's current situation and energy use. As you fill it in, you may notice new areas for improvement. The data forms a summary that makes your energy advisor's work easier. The more detail you provide, the better the advisor can assess suitable measures.

What to keep in mind when filling in

Data protection: Data is not automatically sent to the energy advisor. You can decide at the end whether to share it. The AI-assisted section uses a secure API connection; no name, email or other contact details are attached to the conversation.
Note: This tool collects information – it does not give advice, calculations or recommendations. The advisor evaluates the summary and provides guidance separately.

Note here if you are considering acquiring a new device or system – not replacing an existing one.

4. Property details

Select the era first, then the exact year if you know it. Selecting the era is sufficient.
What does 1½ floors mean?
The upper floor is partly usable under the roof ridge (e.g. a 1.5-storey house), or on a sloping plot the lower floor only covers part of the building.
Identifying the frame construction:
  • Timber frame: often timber cladding / wood panels, structural studs.
  • Log: wall built from round or square logs – courses of timber visible.
  • Brick / block: brick or block outer wall, wall is "hard" and thick.
  • Lightweight concrete (AAC): light porous block of the Siporex/Ytong type.
  • Concrete: precast or in-situ concrete.

Primary heating method (you may select multiple)

An air-to-air heat pump is generally suitable as supplementary heating. In severe frost (below –15…–20 °C) output drops significantly. It is recommended to also select another primary heating method as backup.

  • Natural / gravity: trickle vents / air bricks, airflow varies with weather.
  • Mechanical exhaust: extract fan (often roof-mounted), fresh air via trickle vents.
  • Balanced (MVHR): both supply and extract fans (typically an MVHR unit), usually with filters and heat recovery.

Electricity

Hourly consumption data is usually available from your network operator's online service. Many electricity suppliers also provide a consumption graph in their own portal. Accurate consumption data significantly helps the advisor.
Base load is your property's electricity consumption when no large appliances are running — e.g. overnight or when you are away. Visible as the lowest points on an hourly consumption graph.

7. AI-assisted completion pilot

You can use the AI assistant to help clarify and complete your answers.

How to use the AI section

  • Fill in the basic questions as well as you can.
  • When you want more detail or completion, open the AI assistant.
  • The assistant reviews your answers and asks clarifying questions specifically based on what you have provided.
  • Answer the assistant's questions freely in plain language — you may use numbering:
    • 1. answer: (e.g. more detail about the year of construction)
    • 2. answer: (e.g. clarification on the heating method)
    • 3. answer: (e.g. specific observations about the home's energy use)
  • You can write answers on the same line or as a numbered list (1., 2., 3. etc.).
  • The assistant compiles a clear summary from your answers which you can transfer to the form.
  • When the assistant signals it is done, remember to press "Save AI additions to summary" before closing the AI window. This ensures all information is saved correctly.
  • Approximate information is sufficient – perfect answers are not required.
  • Finally you can save the summary for yourself and send it to an energy advisor with your contact details if you would like advice.
A summary of the form data is passed to the AI without contact details. Actual recommendations are provided by the energy advisor.

What to do after generating the summary?

  1. Generate the summary using the button below.
  2. Download or copy the summary.
  3. Check that the information is correct.
  4. Send the summary by email to your energy advisor. Please include:
    • Your contact details (name, phone number, address)
    • Preferred contact time (optional)
    • Energy Performance Certificate — if you have one
    • Maintenance book or log — if you have one
